At NOA, we are passionate about creating positive user experiences.
Our main focus has been on simplifying and automating some of the most time-consuming tasks associated with attendance registration.
In close collaboration with several Norwegian educational institutions, we are constantly launching new features that make several aspects of the working day a little easier.
We hope that you as a NOA user will experience it as simple, seamless and frictionless. Here you can read what some of our customers say about us:
What others say about us
«The University of Agder has been using NOA for many years and has been involved in the development of the system. NOA offers several different solutions for attendance registration, all in one package. Together with good integrations and automation, it is possible to achieve efficient attendance registration for mandatory activities in a modern way without taking up much teaching time.»
Kevin Benjamin Zeppo Adriaansen, Advisor at the Education Department, UIA
«NOA has been a superb tool for attendance registration, both in my job as a teacher and principal at Sonans! The collaboration with NOA works very well, and we get quick help when we wonder about something.
The app frees up a lot of time in the classroom, which can rather be used for learning!»
Kristin Amundsen, teacher and principal at Sonans Oslo
“I really liked that we were able to use the app, as it made the start of classes more efficient and it made it easier for us students to get an overview of our own absences. It is much easier to have everything together in the app than having to keep track ourselves or ask the lecturers.
The app is easy to use, which makes it efficient to register for classes. It's also nice that we get notifications when attendance is approaching, it makes it easier to remember to register.”
Hannah Fenes , graduated teacher training student from Volda University College
“Volda University College was quick to express our interest in using NOA.
Digitalization in the education sector is a large and ongoing process, and attendance registration is, for us, a timely part of the overall picture. We have had close and good collaboration with NOA throughout, and the path from request to delivery is short.”
Kai Johnsen , digitization consultant, HVO
“I am very satisfied with the NOA attendance app! It is a user-friendly and time-saving tool, intuitive and easy to use for both me and my students. Throughout the school year, it has freed up a lot of classroom time, which can instead be used for learning.”
Asbjørn Odin Aag, former Norwegian teacher at Sonans Oslo
“With the constant demand for simplification and digitization of manual processes, NOA is the perfect partner. Hege and the team are quick to respond and extremely helpful. Working with NOA feels secure, while the path from a good idea to implementation is short.”
Thea Solstad, Program Manager Digitalization, VID
"Sonans is constantly working to find good and effective solutions for our users, and the time thief absence registration has been something we have long wanted to do something about."
The collaboration with NOA has been very good, and it has been almost problem-free from day one. Now we can use the hours for learning!”

Frees up time and resources
– It is a system that frees up time for both lecturers and the administration – where the students take responsibility for registering their own attendance – via the NOA app, says Hege Longva.
The app contains the student's timetable week by week, today's subject to check in to, the school's absence regulations and a complete overview of their own attendance and absence statistics. The check-ins automatically appear on the lecturer's class lists as «present».
