Now the teacher is free from double work

We had a chat with one of NOA's newest customers, the Winter Agricultural School in Ryfylket. We are so happy that she is satisfied!

• Now the teacher is free from double work, says Ingvill Steinnes Luteberget, principal at the school.

-I contacted NOA because I was looking for an easier way to record absences, and wanted to digitalize this to avoid a lot of paperwork and duplicate work, she says.

Previously, registering attendance was a challenge:

"Previously, we have tried different things, from the good old-fashioned absence book, to Excel in Teams, to paper in the classroom. The challenge has been that papers and books can disappear, and that Excel was forgotten to be filled out by teachers," says the principal.

Now it's easy for the school to keep track. NOA streamlines both the administrator's and teachers' everyday lives.

Simple and time-saving

-We have had time savings in connection with reporting absences, states Steinnes Luteberget.

The students are also taking greater responsibility for registering attendance themselves. The principal says that the students find it easy to check in themselves.

"It works really well that students can check in themselves, and that they take more responsibility for ensuring that absence registration is correct," she says.

Steinnes Luteberget is also excited about the different ways students can check in. The school uses numeric codes for check-in when they are outside the classroom. The system works well in the field, she says:

"We have used number codes on both trips and excursions," she says.
