Say hello đ to NOA Evolve; a service for managing courses and further education
For the past six months, we have been working diligently to develop a brand new service, NOA Evolve.
NOA Evolve is designed to assist those responsible for courses and skills development in their company, and is especially valuable for those who are auditors, accountants, or work in an industry where continuing education is required to maintain authorizations.
We know this is time-consuming work, and it is primarily the employee's own responsibility to ensure that their license is valid at all times.
With NOA Evolve, the company gains an overview and control of employees' status and progress in their continuing education, thus ensuring that they both meet the continuing education requirements of the Financial Supervisory Authority and are qualified to do their job at all times. NOA Evolve simplifies, streamlines and ensures quality at every stage.Â
Developed in collaboration with RSM Norway
It all started when we received an inquiry from Ragnar Pettersen at RSM Norway, where they were looking for a system that could handle everything related to the administration of continuing education for their employees.
The company has over 300 employees including auditors, accountants, and lawyers, who are required to have continuing education to maintain their authorizations. Ragnar dedicated approximately 20% of his working hours as responsible for courses and continuing education in the company, in addition to being an auditor and partner in the company. After many years of manual work and time-consuming tasks, they looked around for a supplier who could help them gain better overview and control.
These were tasks they needed to streamline:
A course catalog for internal courses within the company
Online registration for employees directly from the course catalog
Digital registration of participation at the start and end of the course (previously done by manual counting after logging in to Teams)
Automated issuing of course certificates
Option to retrieve reports and overviews of each individual's status of completed and remaining hours within various subject areas, in relation to the requirements from the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway.
RSM Norge had been in contact with several companies, but it was only after being in dialogue with NOA AS that the pieces fell into place. Based on NOA's system for attendance registration, RSM entered into a collaboration with NOA to further develop a new service for companies that are in the same situation.
When asked about how the collaboration has worked for Ragnar, he replies firmly; "Absolutely great".
What saves Ragnar and RSM the most time is the simplification with the course certificates. "It took a lot of time to create and store the course certificates previously, with Evolve's auto-generation it has become super ingenious"
And the most important value Evolve adds to RSM Norge is control. The overview and confidence that all employees are on track and have completed courses within the deadline in accordance with the continuing education requirements from the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway. If they do not have satisfactory progression, I can send them a reminder.
I haven't had this overview of the time records properly before now, because we now also get an overview of courses taken externally. That Evolve is time-saving is a given â Ragnar estimates that he can reduce the time spent by as much as 80% compared to previous routines.
We thank RSM Norge for the collaboration, and look forward to developing the service further.
